These mini ceramic milk jugs are hand thrown and hand-painted in my garden studio in Sussex, England.
The marks are made rhythmically, the simple pattern is inspired by the passing of time 'Lacuna' meaning an unfilled space or gap seemed like the perfect name for the range.
Each piece is handthrown on a pottery wheel and then left to dry a little, the underside is then trimmed and tidied. It is then left to dry out and ready for it's first firing. Once fired it is then dipped in glaze and hand-painted with my patterns. The piece is then ready for it's final firing in the kiln.

This range is made from high fired stoneware clay, it is hard-wearing, suitable for microwaves and dishwashers.
Each piece is handmade on a pottery wheel and then hand-painted so there may be slight variation in size and colour. As this item is not factory made, there may be very minor imperfections. I make my pottery in small batches so you will not necessarily receive the exact item pictured.
PACKAGING AND SHIPPING:
My packaging is now plastic free! My products are wrapped in paper and then gift-wrapped in black tissue paper with fancy tape, they are then packed into very sturdy boxes to ensure they arrive in one piece!
