Ceramic heart egg cup, inspired by a pattern by legendary textile designer, Celia Birtwell. Handmade on a pottery wheel and hand-painted by Kate Brigden with a charming folk-style heart pattern in red green and blue, adding a warm, handmade touch to your breakfast table.  The speckles come from little flecks of iron within the body of the clay. When the piece fired it creates a lovely effect on the surface of the piece.

My pottery is made from high fired stoneware clay. It is hard-wearing and suitable for microwaves and dishwashers.
